The royal commission interim report: what do the non-banks think?

The Royal Commission into Misconduct in the Banking, Superannuation and Financial Services Industry is one of the most-discussed topics in the industry right now.

And it will be one of the big issues in the spotlight at MPA’s upcoming Non-Banks Roundtable – an annual conversation session returning for 2018, gathering speakers from organisations such as La Trobe Financial, Liberty Financial, Homeloans Ltd, Mortgage EZY, Pepper Money, Firstmac, Bluestone and Better Mortgage Management to share their unique opinions on the contentious interim report.

Also up for discussion will be the consequences of the royal commission’s findings for non-bank lenders’ businesses and customers, the non-bank lenders’ approach to responsible lending and compliance, and how they are reshaping the future of lending.

MPA Editor Otiena Ellwand will be facilitating the conversation and fielding questions from listeners.

The roundtable will be streaming live at 12.30pm AEDT on Friday 26 October. Viewers can register here. Get your questions in now!
