This week we talked to Tracey Byrne, MKM Capital broker with 14 years in the industry, previously involved in the party planning business, working with ladies shoes.

How often do you see brokers in a week?
I see approx. 10 a week I need to be available for the difficult scenarios

What do brokers want most from you? 
Return phone calls and emails ASAP, not to make promises I can’t keep.to make myself available to catch up with them when necessary

What is your favourite part of the job?
Meeting new brokers, building relationship, helping my brokers get the deal through to settlement

What distinguishes the best brokers you deal with?
Understanding the NCCP requirement’s and the suitability of the loan for their clients 

Describe your ideal weekend:
Spending time with my husband, 3 children and granddaughter, having a nice glass of red wine sitting by the pool

What’s the strangest lending scenario you’ve ever encountered?
Wanting me to finance  an uninhabitable stone cottage on the Hawkesbury river for clients in there 70,s, Although I've received many weird and wonderful scenarios

How do you like your steak done?
Medium
