BDM in the spotlight: Joseph Khal

This week's CBA BDM of Parramatta has been part of the industry for a decade.

Commonwealth Bank BDM of Parramatta, Joseph Khal, was an apprentice builder until a football injury prevented him from physical work for 6 months. "So I started a finance course and the rest is history."

How often do you see brokers in a week?

Responsiveness and clarity, I truly believe these two things are the most important part of my role.  Additionally, brokers want me to understand their business and identify ways to help them grow and prosper.

What is your favourite part of the job?
Visiting my brokers, I love visiting a brokers office and drawing from their positivity, success and hunger for business.

What distinguishes the best brokers you deal with?
Brokers with a good level of experience and strong understandings of credit policy – they know a deal when it is a deal and have a common-sense approach to the processing of their files. This always creates a confident client and makes their clients experience a positive one from start to finish.
